Who we are
Verdle is a UK-based packaging supply business. For the purposes of UK GDPR, Verdle is the data controller for the information you provide through this website. You can reach us at hello@verdle.co.uk.
What we collect
When you complete the enquiry form on this site, we collect:
- Your name and business name
- Your email address and (optionally) phone number
- Your business location
- What you sell, how long you've been trading, and your approximate order volume
- Which bundle you're interested in
Why we collect it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, recommend the right bundle and sizing for your product, and — if you go on to become a customer — to fulfil your order. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you have initiated, together with your consent given at the point of submission.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing purposes. Your submission is processed and stored by our website and form hosting provider on our behalf. We may share limited details with a packaging supplier where necessary to fulfil an order you have placed.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a customer, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do become a customer, we retain your details for as long as we are supplying you, plus the period required to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email hello@verdle.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
